The project brief demanded creation of a budget hotel using minimalistic and modular design philosophy.
The vision is to create a hotel with a world-class office-space and surrounding environment that will conform to international standards.

The building is designed to maximise interior day-lighting. Design strategies include building-orientation, shallow floor plates, increased building perimeter, exterior and interior permanent shading devices, high performance glazing, and high-ceiling reflectance values.

The proposed design has been developed to achieve the maximum density achievable within the existing design controls that govern the site while permitting a rational and functional plan for the hotel and office complex.
