Elegance is the true luxury

The new Convention Centre, proposed across Mumbai's Western Express Highway, presents a facade that unveils as much as exhibitions and conventions do.

The convention hall is a large 93m span x 140m column-less space, meant to hold multitude events including concerts, indoor sports, trade fairs, film studios etc. Other amenities include Business Centre, Food Court and a large concourse of breakout and pre-function areas. The Convention Centre is set to be one of India's largest column-free halls with state-of-the-art convention facilities, located within 20 mins of the Mumbai International Airport.

The facade concept is to attain simplicity and elegance that exudes a contemporary aesthetic, with provision of architectural sunshade on the facade to lower the cooling load. Thus, The facade is a fusion of vertical louvres, with the horizontal massing block to lend a dynamic look and feel. Further drama is introduced with digital display/branding, pairing LED Lights with architectural ‘fins’ to create a controlled pattern on the facade, generating movement.
