The project establishes the Aerotropolis concept, placing Hyderabad Airport and GMR at the forefront of world class transport and infrastructure, HECC is the new commercial centre for the city of Hyderabad and an integrated environment, providing a diverse range of activities and experiences to invigorate the precinct. It shall hold a world class exhibition and provide a convention centre that is flexible to house varied functions over varied unique social and business programmes. At the heart of the scheme, the grand verandah links define Hyderabad Convention Centre as a unique experience, attracting global attention.

The Exhibition and Convention centre will provide an opportunity for local, regional, and international visitors with diverse social functions and business events. The plan has been developed to allow planning of precincts to suit the economy and market demand without over committing infrastructural expenditure.
